“Last year we held our inaugural 5K Tooth Fairy Fun Run,” said Free Clinic of Simi Valley Executive Director, Fred Bauermeister, “This year, we look forward to even more runners with the addition of the 10K course. The very popular 1K Kids Fun Run is returning. It is truly a light-hearted, family friendly run and participants are encouraged to dress as tooth fairies with wings, tutus, and wands.”
Registration for the Tooth Fairy Fun Run is now open on the Free Clinic of Simi Valley’s website at www.FreeClinicSV.com/expo. Leashed dogs that are registered for the race will be allowed to run with their masters.
Non-runners will be encouraged to participate by sponsoring runners, by cheering their favorite runners on, and by posting to the Expo’s social media sites. 2013’s Expo netted a little under $15,000. “With the addition of the 10K course and the sponsored runners, the Clinic hopes to double that amount this year,” said Bauermeister.
