The Free Clinic of Simi Valley is an anchor in the community, serving residents who lack access to traditional sources of care. Since our inception in 1971, we have worked hard to earn the trust and support of patients, donors, and volunteers.
We are Community-Funded Our supporters keep us in business based on one simple fact: the Free Clinic is a non-profit organization funded entirely by grants and donations. We do not receive payments from private or federally funded insurances. All of our licensed doctors, dentists, counselors, and attorneys volunteer their time and expertise. |

Cultivating Relationships
To continue helping residents lead healthy lives, we strive to increase our visibility and gain new supporters each year.
Clinic Cultivators help drive this visibility and support. Our Cultivators are a unified group of 4-6 organized, highly-motivated individuals who serve in a two-year role and commit to:
Once a volunteer has given two tours, they are eligible to apply to join the Clinic Cultivators. Cultivators are selected based on skills, availability, and group needs.
THE OUTCOME
The work of Clinic Cultivators can lead to new friendships and a strong sense of community. Among Simi Valley residents, the Cultivators' efforts build residents' awareness, pride, and commitment to maintaining the Clinic as an anchor in the community.

- making a $10,000 donation annually
- leading five tours of the clinic annually
- hosting one event annually
